East Canton Village Park is located on 15 acres on Werley Road North.  This beautiful park has two pavilions and playground equipment, tennis courts, basketball courts, 1/2 mile walking track, and three baseball fields with dugouts and bleachers.

The large pavilion at the top of the hill has picnic table seating for approximately 78.  Playground equipment includes swings, a big foot monster truck, playground set, Noah’s Ark, and slides.   The smaller pavilion at the bottom of the hill seats about 48.  Playground equipment in that area includes a train engine with three cars, playground set, monkey bars, and slide.  Both pavilions are equipped with electricity and charcoal grills.

East Canton’s Village Park has a new look with the addition of ball dugouts, fencing and playground equipment.  The Village received grants from Ohio Nature Works and the Stark, Wayne & Tuscarawas Solid Waste District to make additions to the park.  These grants combined with village funds received from park rentals and income tax, make the park a nicer place to gather.  Area baseball and softball teams benefit from ball fields and dugouts provided and maintained by the village.  The park is open for the public to enjoy April 1^st – November 1^st.   

Bathrooms with running water are open May1^st – November 1^st.  Before and after these dates portable toilets are provided. 

Park Pavilion Rental Rates are $50.00 /day for Village of East Canton Residents

Park Pavilion Rental Rates are $75.00/day for all others.

Shelter use is by reservation only.

PARK RULES:

1. Vehicles may not park or drive on the grass
2. Vehicles must park in parking areas only.
3. Vehicles may not exceed a 5 MPH speed limit
4. Visitors are permitted in the park only between the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
5. No alcoholic beverages or controlled substances are allowed in the park
6. No fires permitted except in charcoal holders
7. No wheel toys or vehicle riding permitted in shelters & tennis courts
8. Shelter use by reservation only.
9. No dogs or pets permitted except on leash
10. Pet owners must clean up waste dropped by pet
11. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult
12. Village of East Canton is not responsible for any accident or injury
13. Use of any motorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards is prohibited on the Walking Track of the park
14. No horses are permitted in the park
15. No swimming or wading is permitted in the waterways in and abutting the village park 
16. The playing of golf in any manner whatsoever is prohibited in any park of the park area
17. Any defacement or destruction is prohibited.

 PENALTY:  A violation of the above by anyone carries a penalty not to exceed $100.00 for each violation
